Hmmm, funny there are no comments regarding this post. The reason- because those two pillowbiters suck. Stern ripoffs.

They fail on XM so they go running back to terresterial radio and act like its a good thing. Maybe it'll help them pick up a couple listeners since there only way to try to do that now is to talk about Stern for four hours per day.

We won't justify hate.

But we will say that people who make blanket statements about OandA need to give a listen and check their facts.

Did Howie pave the way?

Absolutely. And we were huge Howie fans back in the day. We respect the radio he did and the roads he opened for other talented jocks, especially OandA.

The reason we love the boys so much is they are honest. They make fun of themselves as much as they make fun of others, and they dish it out as much as they take it.

Listen to their show and count the number of callers they let on who bash them. They don't censor, nor do we here.

The list of people associated with the show are really what make it so great, from Jim Norton to Bill Burr to Patrice O'Neal and even Rich Vos.

Howie's got Howie and a bunch of people who kiss his ass.

Enjoy the Sirius. We enjoy the XM.

And they failed? How? They were so bad on the XM that free radio went to them to bail out a major problem? That's failing? How?

We won't fight about this, though. Enjoy Howie. We'll enjoy OandA.

And it's certainly not worth using such salty language, fella.

Why would they need to go back to terresterial radio (more restrictive to their brand of show) unless in some way they needed to try to create more buzz about being on XM. Regular radio certainly doesn't provide them with the "creative freedom" that a show like theirs needs. So why would they do it?

Second, the numbers suggest that they drew 35,000 new subscribers to XM. Stern, in four months, has drawn (depending on the publication you believe) anywhere from 1.5 to 3.5 million subscribers. Who is better?

Finally, you talk of these people such as Jim Norton, Bill Burr and Rich Vos as if they are household names. I've never heard of any one of them in my life.

I'm sure O&A is quite enjoyable. What those two need to do is shut up about Howard because they aren't Howard nor will never be. They so badly want to be Howard but they are just not as talented. Maybe their show would be better if they didn't bitch and moan about Stern so damn much.
