Exactly. No point. None. A blank screen. Our imagination says the guy in the bathroom came out and took out Tony, Carm and AJ, just as Meadow walked in the door.

Other than that, well, what exactly was the point of the last scene, anyway?

OK. We slept on it.

The only way we are OK with the finale ending was if it was something we read on Alan Sepinwell's blog.

A commenter suggested that the viewers, like Tony, didn't hear any shot fired, and, in essence, died.

Hence the sudden cut to black.

We're OK if that's the case.

Like Bobby said back in the first episode of the second-hald of season 6, maybe no one hears it coming.

At all.
